Iran-Finland Trade Association Meeting Held in Helsinki

TEHRAN The Iran-Finland Trade Association held a meeting in Helsinki on Wednesday ahead of the upcoming meeting of the two countries' joint economic commission.

According to a report released by the Iranian Embassy in Helsinki, representatives of Finnish companies and an Iranian Foreign Ministry official exchanged views on the two countries' trade interests.

The Iranian Ambassador to Finland, Seyed Abbas Araqchi, described current political and economic conditions in Iran at the meeting.

Araqchi also answered questions about the expansion of ties between Iran and Europe as well as the current status of ties between Tehran and Helsinki.

The fifth Joint Iran-Finland Economic Commission will be held May 6-8 in Tehran, with deputy foreign ministers of the two countries chairing the meeting.
